while browsing through nineteen74.com , i came across the profile of ms.panebianco. what caught my attention was how she described her job description or rather what a fashion stylist roles and responsibilities should or could be.

in my opinion, i felt its a pretty acurate description and idealy what a fashion stylist should be. why do i state it as idealy? reason being, i felt she left out the human and cultural differences factors into it, which is hard to quantify and sometimes, hard to understand. its not as straight forward as you are at the trafic lights. when it turn red, you stop. when it turn green, you continue to drive through.

however, from a hobbyist photographer point of view, the “take away” is this – you could consider using her description as a reference base, to level expectations on what to expect when you do work with a fashion stylist and could gauge if the fashion stylist could contribute to what you want to achieve visually.
