<p style="text-align: justify;">during my photoshoots, i often being asked &#8220;whats this?&#8221; &#8211; thats your <a title="gray card wiki description" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gray_card" target="_blank">gray card</a> moment. its my reference shot when i process my images for a particular set. its not absolute, its part of my <a title="colour management" href="http://weblog.joelowphotos.com/photography/eizo-colour-management-in-practice/" target="_blank">workflow</a>. i hate surprises when it involves what i shoot.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">i used to use <a title="scott kelby's photoshop insider" href="http://www.scottkelby.com/" target="_blank">scott kebly</a> &#8216;s freebie grey card reference ( there is a tear off sheet in his amazing CS photoshop book ) but now i use <a title="whilbal" href="http://www.rawworkflow.com/whibal/" target="_blank">whilbal </a>- freaking awesome.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">what does this mean to a hobbyist photographer ? be conscious about such tools, because one day, when you realise you need such a tool, you know where to acquire such tool and how to use it.</p>
